Since we are not interested in virusses in our call center where we do outsourcing for our UK, US and australia clients we mostly use Linux Mint.
Since we always stay on top of our game we now upgraded to Linux Mint Mate 1.4 Desktop
This is to show you how it is done!
Remember releases do not give you automated option to upgrade MATE 1.2
forr this you need to edit the following:
ONE of the following repos to /etc/apt/sources.list via the following command:
sudo add-apt-repository "deb http://packages.mate-desktop.org/repo/ubuntu precise main"
sudo add-apt-repository "deb http://repo.mate-desktop.org/ubuntu precise main"
Then Also edit
the /etc/apt/preferences

Whistling Thorns in Kiserian, Nairobi - Kenya!
Had an excellent time in Kenya were I stayed at Whistling Thorns, in Kiserian, just outside of Nairobi. Had and incredible time and am fully recharged to get back to work.
Very nice kuku choma, nyama choma, pizza and they serve all brands of local beers.
Had a very good time by the pool and finished the books I wanted to read.
It is a very friendly quiet place perfect for families or even corporate meetings.
Nice thing was that I had a couple of meetings in Nairobi and was able to be downtown in one hour. Terrific view!
Whstling Thorns in Kiserian is truly an oasis for anyone visiting Nairobi, or trying to escape the busy city for a while
Their web site can be found at:

Thank you Sarah and Marie Louise for a wonderful time!
This is probably the best value for money with the friendliest service!
